Website Design

After an initial consultation, I will produce a draft website on a temporary domain to illustrate key features. Following one or two iterations of the draft, I will provide an accurate estimate of the work. To give some idea, typical estimates currently work out at around £50 per page with a minimum price of £100.

No deposit is required. You will be able to see the website under development on the temporary domain and feedback comments, I will alert you if the work looks like it will exceed the estimate, then I will invoice you the full amount when the website is deployed.

Website Hosting

I can provide managed WordPress hosting for £10 per month or £100 per year. This includes:

  • Shared hosting with Gandi.net
  • Automatic software updates to keep WordPress core, themes and plugins up to date
  • SSL Certificate
  • Regular offsite backups
  • Regular malware scanning
  • A Firewall to block malicious access attempts
  • Uptime monitoring

Note that eCommerce websites will be a little more expensive due to the increased performance requirements of the hosting platform.

Domain Registration

If you ask me to provide hosting for your website, then I can also provide domain registration via Gandi.net at cost price. This will include two free email accounts. The price list for domains can be found here: Domain Price List
